About Us
Chief cook & bottlewasher
My name is Rich Bartko and I started SoapHutch in 2003 after a local Soaper suggested I meet with Judy Jones of "To Die For Soap". I approached Judy to ask if she had a need for plastic cavity molds since I have the equipment to make them. She said what she really needed was someone to fabricate Plexiglas molds as her supplier had recently past away.
The rest, as they say, is history. I built a website and Judy referred business to me and I have loved dealing with Soapers ever since. They have to be the nicest people in the world!
Seeing what Plexiglas soap molds were available at that time I knew I could make them better. I take great pride in each and every mold I make and they are so pretty when they are finished, I hate to pack them up and send them away.
Recently, I have been doing research and development on a new line of Soap Molds to complement the existing line of Plexiglas Soap Molds.
SoapHutch's new HDPE Slide-Lock & Press-Lock Soap Molds have been receiving rave reviews and I'll be adding more information about them soon so check back often.
Enough about me. Take a minute to click on the links on the right to visit the sites of some of the nicest Soapers you'd ever want to meet.
If you would like to add your link to our customer links list, just drop me an email.
Kind regards,
Rich
